Founder of the Parisian Haute Couture House Nereides, and an international financial strategist, Prince Nereides Antonio Giamundo de Bourbon puts his creativity at the service of fashion and finance.

Nereides is an unconventional personality: an artist, a businessman, and a contemporary prince. The spirit of Nereides is linked to nobility and his two towns of origin, Paris, and Capri. As for Nereides' personal and professional journey, it is both atypical and complex. While he has a longstanding fashion background working with luxury houses such as Chanel and Fendi, he previously worked in the oil sector, real estate, art sales, and financial trading. He incorporates his broad work experience into his label and blends the world of finance with the beauty of art and clothing.

While at university, he began his studies in the classics, but he eventually ended up in law and economics. He simultaneously earned his master’s degree in haute couture while completing his law degree. Fashion always remained a strong interest of his, so in 2007, Nereides debuted his first haute couture collection and opened his label at his home address: Place Vendôme in Paris. The inspiration for his fashion house originates from his own name. “Nereids,” otherwise known as “sea nymphs,” are mythical creatures that inhabit the ocean and represent its beauty. In regards to his other influences, Nereides highlights his two hometowns. “Paris and Capri are both my home and the two places that inspire my artistic dimension,” he says. A common theme of his work is matching classic Parisian style with Capri’s nautical ambiance. True to his identity, Nereides’ first collection included marine designs, tropical colors, and sophisticated floral motifs. Exclusivity plays a large role in his collections, as only hand-picked audiences can attend his fashion shows. The runway shows are often staged at scenic locations such as historic Italian caves, at Amalfi luxury hotels, and even on the coast of Capri. His noteworthy shows and venues have earned him awards and recognition from the Chamber of Italian Fashion.

In addition to fashion, Nereides is involved with the Ballet Festival of St. Petersburg, has organized film festivals, and ha has created his own philanthropic foundation. He also founded the eponymous conglomerate “NEREIDES Group,'' and formed a private circle of elite clients that include royal families, politicians, and celebrities.

Among the muses for the designer’s artistic evolution are an array of actresses and models. Some are familiar faces, such as Nicole Kidman, Angelina Jolie, and Cate Blanchett. Others are up-and-coming talents, like Italian model and actress Lilly Mandel, who has been nicknamed the "new Monica Bellucci," the Parisian Marine Barbier, and the model Mame Anta Wada, who is already a muse of the multi-talented Rihanna.

His latest project is a skincare line titled “Diamond Elixir.” Not only is the line inspired by the timelessness of diamonds, but it is made from actual diamond particles. One of his muses, Lilly Mandel, is the face of this skincare launch and represents the haute-rejuvenation products.
